The tax authorities have ruled that publication of information by General Profit Organisations (ANBI, Algemeen Nut Beogende Instellingen) over the internet is a legal requirement (publication obligation) for retention of or application for the ANBI status. As such, a charity organisation must publish, among other things, its contact details, policies, financial details and current activities, on an internet address or via a publication portal, that is accessible to the public. This way, the public is able to obtain insight into the functioning of charity organisations.

Swazoom is an organisation in Amsterdam Zuidoost that aims to contribute substantively to the enlargement of chances for children and families in society. We do this by cooperating with families and suppliers in the field to organise preventative interventions during the development of young children, and through programmes that promote the development of adolescents (until 23 years old) and their parents.

Because of our presence and coherent offer of services in the districts of Amsterdam Zuidoost, we are aware of the issues that are present. On the one hand, we are therefore an important collaborative partner for suppliers in the diverse related fields, while on the other hand we can function as advisor for questions concerning youth- and upbringing with the local management. In order to realise our goals we employ qualified individuals that are passionate and involved with the target group.
